Windmill Street Congregations
The Church building was opened in 1843, and other parts have been built subsequently. Some of the facilities, including the kitchen and toilets, were upgraded during 1999.
Emmanuel's Windmill Street Congregations meet at the Church's Centre in the heart of the administrative sector of Gravesend. Gravesham Borough Council's office blocks are very close (just up and down the road from the Church), while the town's central Police Station and Registry Office are opposite.

Times of fun and relaxation are among the many activities that take place for the Windmill Street Congregations. Our picture shows a group at Swanley Park when, having played a game of rounders, it began to rain heavily, and the only way they found to keep dry was to hide under a tarpaulin!
