Riverview Park Congregation

When built in the 1960s, Riverview Park was Europe's largest private housing estate. Part of the area was a Second World War aerodrome.
Emmanuel's Riverview Park Congregation was launched in September 1991. The Congregation's regular home for Sunday worship is The Scout and Guide Hall in Whinfell Way.
The Congregation, under the leadership of David Ware and the Deacons, is committed to reaching its community of almost 3,000 homes with the news of God's love. It arranges numerous regular activities to help build relationships with local people, including quiz evenings, summer barbecues and special events each Christmas. In addition, it is highly committed to working with local children and young people.

Among other things, the Riverview Congregation is currently praying for:

  1.  More people to become linked with the Fellowship

  2.  More complete families to be part of the Fellowship

  3.  The development of the work among children and young people
