Redevelopment Project
With over 160 years of involvement in the life of the community in Gravesend, Emmanuel Baptist Church has made the bold decision to redevelop its Windmill Street Church Centre. Most of the changes will be inside the existing building but, once complete, they will enable the Centre to cater for community needs in the future far more than has ever been possible until now
Believing that the Church has a major contribution to make to the needs and requirements of the local neighbourhood, as well as the town as a whole, the Church has agreed building works, which will cost around £1.5m. These will increase significantly the amount of usable space in the already extensive Centre. In addition, the whole building will be modernised internally, and made user-friendly, especially for those with disabilities
