SALVATION. This is entirely a work of God and cannot be earned or deserved by those to whom it is given. It has been accomplished by Jesus Christ as He died on the cross, and is offered to all. Because of His love God is willing to forgive those who have sinned against Him and offended Him. As individuals repent and turn away from sin, God forgives them, adopts them into His family, and shares with them His gift of eternal life
THE HOLY SPIRIT. He has been sent by God to help people understand their need of salvation through Jesus Christ. When individuals respond to God's love He imparts eternal life, indwells believers, and helps them to grow in their faith. He builds the church and em- powers members for worship, fellowship and mission

BAPTISM AND HOLY COMMUNION. Believer's Baptism and Holy Communion (sometimes called The Lord's Supper) were initiated by Jesus Christ as visible signs of His Good News. The baptism by immersion in water of those who believe and trust in Him is a symbol of their union with Him, while Holy Communion is a commemoration of His suffering offered once for all as He died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sin and rebellion of mankind
